And I never really appreciated the C6 styling much, but this 2013 Grand Sport is awesome. 6MT, LS3, Z51 Magnetic Ride Control, fantastic seats, 60th anniversary. It also looks quite nice in white. I think this is probably the best standard modern corvette and very likely a future classic. Also, 0-60 in 3.9. This is relevant because by the time the C8 comes out, the C6 will be quite inexpensive, and the C5s will possibly fill the shoes of the C4. Also, this is the only regular corvette of recent memory to be as fast to 100kph as a contemporary Lambo, dude.

All I can think about is how yellow those headlight covers will be in 5 years time.. I guess that's easily fixed though.

I hope by the time the C8 comes out, the C4 starts going up in value... Though I wouldn't be surprised if they went down as the C5s come down as well.

I think as the people who grew up with an appreciation for 80s C4s get older, the demand will increase for them and they will become classics (following C3). The LT cars have less character and are better equipped as performance bargains, so those will probably follow C5 value trends. I think our cars will appreciate, though; I'm not sure about mine considering the mileage, corvette guys look right past more important factors.

It's a reliable 80s sports car with classic looks and modern performance. Owning the unappreciated vette is half the fun, anyways!
